Dialog art for the girls in demo. 6 main characters but there will be some extra side characters with content and animation, I'm thinking 4 more to make things more varied.
Feel free to give ideas for more characters based on your preferences, I'm not done designing extra characters since I'm focused on the art and animation of the main cast.
With some luck I might be able to reach 20 characters for demo including enemies in battle. Feature creep is a crazy thing, can't believe it reached that number so fast.
Oh well, more titties to bounce, more futa to enjoy.
Those are some smokin' hot babes. At the moment I don't really have any particular type of character in mind that I would like to see. These girls kind of cover most of my bases. If anything, it would be nice to have a toned girl in there. Like, not super muscular, but just very athletic. Fit. Then again, I don't know how hard that is to convey with these sprites. Hell, maybe one of these girls is already like that and it's just hidden under her clothes. Like the redhead. Look at the scowl. She looks like the kind of girl who gets easily pissed off and kicks ass. She's probably very in shape.

ReplyDeleteMy gripe is I wish they looked more like traditional visual novel characters. I think the hairstyles are too overdone.

Not a problem, I like that you were honest with the feedback, I really appreciate that. I know my artstyle and work isn't the best but maybe you could show an art or two of stuff you'd like to see in as you mentioned before? Maybe I can try learning from that and give it a shot for the secondary characters or even update one of the main girls with that. I know it's my work to just learn to do it right for the public but maybe this way I could lean better to what you want. Sme thing applies to everyone that post here, they're free to suggest and show stuff.

Man, I like have no idea... I'm used to look a 120p videos of various pixels doing things, so literally anything is better. IDK how to judge art, but all i can say is that your art captures the Japanese style which i find cool and like i guess.

You're right I'll keep the forehead thing in mind and change some of these girls, don't know why designs were inclined into that, happened subconsciously I guess.

I see, sorry for the late reply, do you have to use a script if you want character to have more that just 3 frames of walking in each direction>?
DeleteYes there are scripts(XP, VX and VX Ace)and plugins(MV) for that, they're easy to use and have their own instructions inside.
